Take Back The Tech! Bosnia - Herzegovina

Take Back The Tech!i Bosnia - Herzegovina first launched in 2008. Its sponsor, the OneWorld Platform for Southeast Europei Foundation (OWPSEE), in collaboration with other local organizations, joined the global Take Back The Tech! campaign by localizing its key message for the citizens - especially women and girls - of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania. Their actions organized during the global 16 days of activism against gender-based violence range from the translation of campaign materials in three local languages (Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian, Macedonian and Albanian), round-table discussions, documenting, publishing, training or digital storytelling.

Violence is Not our Culture Campaign

The Violence is Not our Culture (VNC) Campaign was founded in 2007 and is a global network of organisations and individuals committed to end all forms of discrimination and violence against women (VAW) being justified in the name of culture and/or religion. Such forms of gender-based violence include stoning, whipping/lashing, forced marriage, child marriage, female genital mutilation and “honour” killings. The Campaign is now present in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Women Human Rights Defenders International Coalition

The Women Human Rights Defendersi International Coalition (WHRD IC) is a worldwide resource and advocacyi network for the protection and support of women human rights defenders (WHRD). Created out of the international campaign on WHRD launched in 2005, the coalition asserts that the gender iand the nature of the work of those advocating for women's human rightsi has made them a clear target of attacks, requiring “gender-sensitive mechanisms for their protection and support”, as they statei. Coalition is currently composed of 25 members.

CREA

CREA (Creating Resources for Empowermenti in Action) is a feminist human rightsi organisation, founded in the year 2000, based in New Delhi, India. It focus on empowerment of women and women's human rightsi defenders through a series of workshops that focus on strengthening feminist leadership, changing public attitudes and addressing social exclusion.

Bekhsoos

The queeri Arab magazine Bekhsoos allows LBQ women and transgendered persons to share their stories and break the silence surrounding issues of (homo)sexuality in the Arab world.

CLAM

Working with scholars, activists and other partners, CLAM approaches sexuality from a social perspective and fights against the discrimination of sexual minorities in Latin America. In partnership with Sexuality Policyi Watch (SPW), CLAM worked with the Brazilian team of the APC's EroTICsi project - a global research on sexuality and the interneti, which included researchers from Brazil, India, Lebanon, South Africa, and the United Stateis.

AZUR Development

AZUR Development’s mission is to provide leadership in the sociocultural and economic development of the Congo and of Africa in general. As a non political, non-profit organisation, AZUR Development aims at attaining the following objectives: promote art and culture; promote women empowermenti and sustainable development; bring multi-fold assistance to the sick, to the disadvantaged and to vulnerable people; work to protect environment.

Open Institute Cambodia

The Open Institute is a non-governmential and not-for-profit organization that works toward widespread access to high quality education, information, communication, and technology, in the belief that this will lead to a more developed and just society.
The mission of the organization is to ensure that the benefits of technology for social and economic advance are available to in Cambodian society. At present, the Open Institute's main programs are: Women Empowermenti for Social Change, Open Schools, Khmer Software Initiative, Mirror Publication, Lexicography and River of Knowledge.

End Child Prostitution, Abuse and Trafficking (ECPAT) Cambodia

ECPAT-Cambodia's vision is the realization of the rights of all children to live free of child prostitution, abuse, child pornography and child trafficking for sexual purposes. It works to eliminate the commercial sexual exploitation of children through awareness raising, advocacyi, monitoring and the coordination of actions and sharing information among relevant stakeholders.

Taller Permanente de la Mujer association

The association Taller Permanente de la Mujer is a non governmential organization dedicated to advocating the rights of women in Argentina. It began its work in 1988, addressing issues such as health, population, reproductive rights, domestic violence, work and culture. It operates the Women's Bookstore, one of 62 libraries in the world specializing in books and writings “by” and “for” women. Taller Permanente de la Mujer is a national country partner in the “MDG3i: Take Back The Tech!ii to end violence against womeni” project.
