The Interamerican Center of Research and Documentation on Professional Formation (CINTERFOR) is a technical service of the International Labor Office (ILO), created in 1963 and based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Within the program Gender, Formation and Labor, the Cinterfor is dedicated to discuss several issues regarding women's empowerment and insertion in the labor market, and ICTs are an important part of this work. Cinterfor opens a space of information, exchange and capacity building aiming at contributing with the efforts for knowledge building in the framework of the global debates on Information Society.
