Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET)

Initiated in May 2000 in Uganda by several women's organizations, Women of Uganda Network's (WOUGNET) mission is to promote and support the use of ICTi by women and women organizations in Uganda, so that they can take advantage of the opportunities presented by ICT in order to effectively address national and local problems of sustainable development. WOUGNET activities are carried out under three major program areas: Information Sharing and Networkingi, Technical Support and Gender iand ICT Policyi Advocacyi.

Si Jeunesse Savait (SJS)

Si Jeunesse Savait (SJS, “If Young Women Knew” in french) is a feminist group formed in 2001 and based in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It has representation in three provinces of eastern Congo. SJS builds the leadership skills of young women in sexual and reproductive rights, information and communication technologies and entrepreneurship. SJS has 115 members and more than 2000 supporters around Congo.

Center for Women's Studies of the Central University of Venezuela

The Center for Women's Studies of the Central University of Venezuela is dedicated to organize, promote and foster the resarch, the studies and the extension on women's issues and to present alternatives and solutions to the demads of the University and the society regarding the gender perspective.

WomensHub

WomensHub is a Philippines-based organisation of women who undertakes initiatives to promote greater access to ICTi by communities struggling to assert their autonomy and empowermenti.

Asian Women's Resource Exchange

The Asian Women's Resource Exchange (AWORC) is an Interneti-based women's information service and network in Asia. It is an initiative geared towards developing cooperative approaches and partnerships in increasing access and exploring applications of new information and communication technologies for women's empowermenti.

JCA-NET

JCA-NET provides networkingi tools for NGOs and social movements, and is also a member node of the Association for Progressive Communicationsi (APC Networks) in Japan (since October, 1998).

ISIS International Manila

ISIS International Manila is a feminist NGO dedicated to women’s information and communication needs. ISIS International Manila focus on those advancing women’s rights, leadership and empowermenti in Asia and the Pacific.

Pacific Women's Bureau

Pacific Women's Bureau is part of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC). It provides technical and advisory services to the 22 island member countries of the SPC through national focal points for women and the SPC Pacific Conference for Women, held every three years.
