Great piece! In full agreement that there need to be more solidarity actions and support for women who are attacked on (and off) line. I was heartened when more than 2,000 game developers –the majority of them men— signed an open letter calling for an end to discrimination in the gaming industry following death threats made against the feminist gaming reviewer Anita Sarkeesian. But there need to be more incidences of people standing up to protest and question the abuse of women online – as part of the bigger picture of discrimination against women on and offline.
